WHO I AM

My name is Miguel Rodríguez Vallejera, and I am pleased to share my story and passion with you. My journey in the world of architecture began at the Higher School of Architecture of Valladolid, where I acquired the fundamental knowledge and skills that have led me to where I am today. During my training, I discovered a deep affinity for the three-dimensional world and a methodology that has revolutionized the industry: BIM (Building Information Modeling).

My fascination with the 3D world and the BIM methodology has driven me to explore new frontiers in architectural design and construction. I firmly believe that this technology not only improves efficiency in the design process, but also contributes to the creation of more sustainable and functional buildings.

Throughout my career, I have developed a special interest in traditional rammed earth and adobe construction architecture. These ancient techniques have stood the test of time and offer valuable lessons about sustainability and adaptation to the environment. My commitment is to preserve and revitalize these forms of construction, incorporating them innovatively in contemporary projects.

Additionally, I am passionate about energy efficiency in buildings and have dedicated myself to researching and deeply understanding the Passivhaus standard. I believe architecture should be energy and environmentally responsible, and I am committed to designing buildings that reduce their carbon footprint and provide healthier environments for their occupants.
